Once it is complete, fully exit Steam by closing your Steam browser and then exiting from the icon in your toolbar. Wait for the program to finish this may take five to ten minutes. On that tab, go to the button labeled 'Verify Integrity of Game cache' at the bottom of the list. On the pop-up, look for the 'Local Files' tab. Go to 'Properties' in the dropdown and click it.
You can try verifying your local files cache to see if that helps anything: You should be able to input your CD Key into a pop-up window for Origin in order to activate the game once you have installed both AMR and Origins.
